It’s very sad and discouraging that the reason we haven’t had a new Eeveelution is because of Fakémon.

We shouldn’t be punished for wanting to draw our own Pokémon.

And if they were THAT concerned about people making good Eeveelution designs, they should of just done them all by now instead of slowly pacing it to the point where they feel like they can’t make anymore cuz the community already mad rad designs.

I think this, out of everything that’s come out from the Teraleak, is the only thing that truly pisses me off.

making sprite edits of dual type eeveelutions

the top one is Nebleon, a psychic/dark type. because espeon is connected to the sun and daytime, and umbreon to the moon and nighttime, I made the eeveelution based on the combination of their types based on the stars and nebulae. I originally used this design as an old fakemon of mine that was a concept for a new pokemon type. but I think it works better as a dual type

the bottom one is Ilexeon, a grass/ice based on holly trees, or ilex aquifolium, a plant typically seen on christmas cards and associated with winter. I originally considered both evergreen trees and deciduous trees, but since there were already pokemon vaguely associated with each, I decided on something more christmas-y that people would immediately recognize as a grass/ice type

as of right now, these are not complete yet. I still wanna add a few details, maybe fix nebleon's colors and add more raindeer features to ilexeon. I'm definitely gonna make more of these. if you have any cool ideas for dual type eeveelutions, let me know

Hello, new poison type, who dis?

So, I've been hyperfixating on SwSh again, and in doing so I'm finding what kind of trainer/gym leader I would be in Galar.

I'm still working on stuff lore-wise, but in doing so I've made my own fan eeveelution specifically for my trainer/gym-sona. I can see myself being the new Poison Type leader in Galar, as Klara doesn't want to take up the role due to the mass amount of research they want to invest in. Thanks to that research she disagrees with so much, a new eeveelution would be produced in the Poison Gym. In this SwSh AU, it would take place in what would be the third installment for Galar, Pokemon: Arrow. Get it? Sword, Shield, Arrow... going with the weapon theme aha //brick'd. This new eeveelution would be put in the #205 pokedex position, bumping Applin to #206 (basically applin and onward would be bumped up by one number).

"Pokedex Entry #205: Toxiceon: Upon extensive research, a select few in the Galar Region have found that an Eevee can be affected by more than one environmental factor, and reacts to grow into a new, rare evolution. Eevee will only evolve into a Poison/Water type if they regularly swam in lakes, ponds, and seashores that expose them to the venomous toxins of Poison-type Pokemon; as such, these Eeveelutions can be found in wet or swampy areas in which these noxious Pokemon gather. Despite their unnerving appearance, Toxiceon do not seek out battles and will attempt to warn off potential opponents by shooting a burning toxin contained in the spikes on their three tails as a warning shot beforehand. Eeveelutions of this dual-typing are also capable to breathing underwater, preferring to seek out warmer, mucky bodies of water to make their dens; as such, they mark these dens as their territory by secreting a skin irritant from the diamond-shaped pustules around their neck during the building process to ensure any unwanted intruders keep away. Although Toxiceon have a timid and defensive disposition, but can become great partners with a little effort and compassion."

A while ago I got bored and decided to look for ghost type eevelutions, with a specific idea in my head. To my surprise, I found that most of the ghost type eeveelutions weren’t all that ghost like. So, I decided to make my own.

Behold, Phanteon! The drawing on the left was my first ever drawing of it, and the right was the second drawing I made. The name is based off of the word Phantom as you may have guessed, a word for ghost. I even made a (rough draft of) a Pokédex entry.

If an eevee dies in battle protecting those they love deeply, they may come back as a Phanteon. These Pokémon are slow to trust, but highly loyal once befriended. But be wary, if you wrong one they will hold a grudge for years to come. Their back half is translucent and gas-like.

Where to be found

These Pokémon, if not following someone, will often hang around Poké-grave yards, or the place of their death. It is noted that they are more frequently spotted on foggy days or late at night.

How to evolve/evolution needs

If a trainer wishes to evolve their eevee into Phanteon, they may try this much less cruel method. Training your eevee to max friendship, with it holding a reaper cloth, before having it faint in battle while holding this item. Once healed, it has a chance of evolving into this elusive Pokémon. It is also noted that for an unknown reason, there is a much higher rate of success with this method if said eevee is evolved in a graveyard, though some believe the spiritual energy there aids in this evolution.

For how often it could be encountered, this could be changed and I based it off a quick google search a while ago. Normally, the encounter chance is 1/100, with the chance in a graveyard being 1/70. If it is foggy or late at night, the encounter chance is increased by 5%. For evolution, it doesn’t always work. Outside of a graveyard, it has a 75-80% chance of working on average, while in graveyards it has a 95% chance of working. I made all of this up, so don’t blame me if the numbers are weird. Also, if it doesn’t work, it will just evolve into a normal eeveelution holding a reaper cloth.

If anyone wants to use this, feel free, but please credit me! You can use it in stories, games, draw it, whatever, just please credit me as the artist and maker of this guy specifically. I know the idea has been around for a while, but I couldn’t find any that looked like mine really.

Sona master post time!

here is the post guys, gonna put it under a cut because I have a lot to say about a lot of my sonas

1)Bear man? He has no name really, just me really. technically I made his species a grolar bear but he is just kinda a silly bear. hat and glasses are optional. bandana and sweater are interchangable. technically you can draw top surgery scars on him but I haven't had top surgery yet so I will only draw those scars when that happens. But yeah he is my defult sona

2) Lemon (aka spearsona) My rain world sona, can be anthro or just a scug. he has no mouth usually, mouth can be given if silly enough. He has fluffy paw pads (kinda like rabbit feet) The patches on the anthro version overalls represent my friends that I feel closest to (there is a missing pink bow patch from my old drawing because that friend blocked me, please don't attack them if you find out who they are) I will be adding more patches, don't worry friends

3) Gator! My more silly playful sona. goofy and stretchy and moldable. kinda a guy I use when excited of playful. when my brain is very lizard brain. He has 2 requirements for if you draw him, green and has the snoot. go wild if you draw him, I love this fella.

Update (11/09/24): Gator has a shark fin on his back now. same rules as before but now requirements are green, the gator snoot and the fin

4) Draygon This guy and below are more personal or with friends so just keep that in mind and ask if you are allowed to draw them doing something. (if you are a mutual or we interact a lot you can draw this guy) Anyways he is just a long dragon with a fluffy mane, if you see him I am usually sarcastic or have had a very rough day

5) Banana! :D Pokesona, he is an eeveelution designed by my friend @boyswhowawa (I can remove tag if you want) called alebreon. He is a ground type (he also looks quite different from the normal alebreon, they are not normally bright yellow) the green arm band is mandatory. He usually is around his friend squash (I cannot share squash because that is friends sona) I actually don't mind fanart of him but he is more personal to me

6) Zigzaret :P my second pokemon sona, a galarian zigzagoon, sentret hybrid. a silly pal. nothing too special he is just silly. you can draw him being a goober and a sweetheart.

7) Squizzard OwO originally a fusion of lonely wizard and a squirrel from inscryption. He is extremely personal with my close irl friends. ask me directly if you want to draw him. I find him silly and I love him but would be uncomfortable if he got just random fan art

So, according to something found during the recent Teraleak, there was apparently going to be a Flying type evolution for Eevee. But then they scrapped it because they thought it would be too similar to a fan design for the same idea. That got me thinking about what a potential Flying Eeveelution would look like.

Of course, plenty of other people have made their own designs for the same idea. A couple of people actually make its ears into wings (such as this neat design by @elbdot !!).

I don't think I've seen anyone make its wings actually fold so that it can look like regular ears too. So that's what I'm going for with this design I drew!

I can't really think of good names for it right now, so for the time being I'm gonna called this Eeveon. Which is the name most people go with for a potential Normal evolution for Eevee too. In this case I'm intending this Eeveon to be a dual Normal/Flying type! Especially since I think at this point there's probably a better chance of us getting more Eeveelutions of the other types besides just Normal and just Flying.

Also since pure Flying types seem like they're meant to be very sparingly used for Pokemon, with the only one for the longest time being the legendary Tornadus. And before that, Flying was always at least paired with Normal for a lot of Pokemon.

(tbqh the fact that the non-legendary/non-mythical/etc. Rookidee and Corvisquire are also pure Flying annoys me way more than it probably should, but I digress, lmao...)

Holy crap you just so many ideas, thank you!!! Well I actually have a few things. But first here is pony nimbasa trio!

Both of the twins are unicorns while Elesa is a pegasus, my pokequestria au is set in gen 4 of mlp so characters interact, and being in this universe pokemon aren't existent but other creatures do.

As someone who is basically a pegasister, (it's a term for a mlp fan), I can tell you exactly how the twins can conduct trains in equestria. Based on lore Unicorns have the gift of magic, and in the show we meet a set of unicorn twins (they end up being antagonists but later seasons they do change) while they use their magic to power their machines. But trains do exist in the mlp universe, powered by engine and pulled by earth pony. I'd like to think that the trains the twins conduct are powered by a spell, or maybe a jolt of magic. So yes, they use their horns, even as ponies they are also still able to do their point and call but I will possibly draw that at another time.

Now for a pokemon legends arceus pony ingo I actually do have a sketch of him.

I have one with the coat and hat and one without.

The one with out I made last night, now circling back to pokemon not existing in this au, I did want to add creatures that could be kinda companions to them. Like how in pla, ingo has Gliscor, who is just a big bat so I gave him a little vampire bat.

The eeveelution idea did give me a few ideas but I'm gonna need some time to work on that until then.

Algaeon, grass/water type. based on kelp, algae, and seaweed. it spends most of its time underwater. it camouflages itself in patches of kelp to lure prey. many tiny fish like wishiwashi and tatsugiri make their home in algaeon's tail. however, algaeon isn't interested in these small fish. rather, algaeon hunts their predators, such as goldeen and qwilfish and carvanah

decided to make a shiny for this one, since the blue to pink and green to brown are common shiny tropes. also, I didn't mention it in the pokedex entry, but the ears are based on nautilus shells.

Turns out I’m not doing faketober! I just don’t feasibly have the time with how school is looking and I also am realizing I want to experiment with my art a little more at the moment.

With that tho! I did do a lot of planning for faketober concepting wise and I am attached to a good few of them. I still wanna make fakemon, especially for my personal fan region :] So expect some guys this month still and also here is the concept doodles for the dragon eeveelution I made for day 1. I went for dragon because I am a big fan of the idea of sp. atk based eeveelution types theory, and dragon is the only one left if I’m correct. (I also had a different idea for the more physical attack types and what to do with those but shhhh).

I imagine he’s like a maine coone of eeveelutions, with a lot of the stereotypical orange cat tendencies alongisde large dog with no personal boundaries. Eeveelution enthusiasts would catch/evolve this guy so eagerly and realize that he is a menace to the rest of the guys. Hard mode eeveelution but he just needs good training and attention.

I also originally leaned far more into eastern dragon inspo, but I saw a lot of similar designs and turned towards a more lion/large shape alongside more western dragon imagery in mind. Like if pokemon was trying to make a more “masc” counterpart to sylveon. But I also have some sktches from this stage.The center one was the in-between where I put all the features I was considering, disregarding the clutter it would add to the design, and then simplyifing it from there

Happy New Year! As the clock turns, I have a special fakemon gift! I've already shared the regional Pikachu for my in-progress fan region, but we also have a regional Eevee with regional Eeveelutions.

This regional Eevee, known as "Smokee" to locals, is a Ghost type. Its body is made of ash and smoke. Despite its strong resemblance to Eevee, Smokee never reacted to any of the known Eevee evolution methods. That was until recent events in the region uncovered a material that, when exposed to Smokee, causes it to evolve!

Regional Vaporeon live in misty mountain valleys. They exhale thick plumes of vapor to hide in. They're known to be temperamental. They have the Marvel Scale ability.

Regional Jolteon live in the forest abutting the foot of the mountain. They fire off stinging spines from their bodies with startling accuracy. They have the Compound Eyes ability.

Regional Flareon fly about in the thin mountain air. The fluff on their bodies absorbs sunlight to keep themselves warm at high altitudes; at night, it releases a pleasant glow. They have the ability Flare Boost.

Regional Espeon have an uncanny ability to dowse for water in their alpine desert homes. When their tails straighten, it means water is near. They have the Water Absorb ability.

Regional Umbreon form packs in the swamps. A strange, sickly glow emanates from the jewel on their foreheads, making them look like will-o-wisps in the night. They have the Corrosion ability.

Regional Leafeon's blades are ultra-light razors that can cut nearly anything, even sheer mountain rock. When its blades dull, it sheds them and grows new ones. It has the Sharpness ability.

Regional Glaceon live in caves, where they use their gem-studded heads to bash open pathways in the dark. They have the Rock Head ability.

Regional Sylveon live in cities. By tightening and loosening the wraps on their legs, they can control the power of their blows. They have the Moxie ability.

As I hope you can see, my idea with creating these Regional Eeveelutions was to fill out the rest of the type chart while keeping the designs within the basic silhouettes of the existing Pokemon. I hope you guys like them!

any fans of both pokemon and AO got any ideas for regional variants and / or fakemon ? ideas i have so far are:

- porygon line made out of arcanium metal (among other things), made in universe to either allow those w/o magic to have a way of temporarily using it or to make magic attacks stronger because it'd be like the power of 2 magic users ???

- at least one new eeveelution (unused type options are Flying, Poison, Ground, Rock, Bug, Steel, and Dragon)

- general idea of regional variants based on. regions. unsure whether this would be as specific as 'each island gets a variant', based on specific climates, or just wider regions or even entire seas?

- pokemon found in akursius keep and the dark sea could be like a shadow pokemon equivalent ? maybe mythicals based on effects like warding and insanity ?

- variants of basically all canonically manmade pokemon

- something based on greek mythology !!!! mythology in general !!! this is necessary
